What do you think about them? Do they make that much difference? Do the pro's run with them?

anything that sheds heat is pretty much a bonus. how much heat they shed is another story.

I would say you MIGHT see a drop in temp of maybe 5 degrees?

there is no use for them on a ex anyhow

there cheap(20-30bucks) so if you do buy its not to big a investment.

I put a larger water pump cover on my 99 yz250 (boyeson) and it definitly made a diff. it would always drop coolant(overheat) on the hillclimbs. after i put that on it stopped.

Blood Red... Are you planning to use them in-line with your oil lines? If so, I too would think it would help, but not sure if the temperature would drop noticeably. Also looks like something that would get muddy easily, and make it difficult to clean in my normal riding conditions.

DO NOT use them inline with your oil cooler. The diameter increase will cause you to lose oil pressure. They were designed for water cooled applications only!

well, if i got everything straight, blood red is getting MX26's 250r (i think), so i am pretty sure he is referring to a 250 that is WATER COOLED. i read in a Z400 post that they do some good and are cheap enough. test it out. ain't gonna hurt!!!

Just making sure that people that do not know he is using it on a 250r do not think it is for oil.
