416 kit

how much is it to put in a 416 kit. like labor and all the parts i would have to buy to make it run right.

marcums mtrspts did mine (well the boring) and i assembled it. i got a hotcams stage 2, port and polish, and 10.8:1 compression piston, and rev box for under 500.

well the only parts you need is...

1.cam (best choice is a drop in , saves you time and money)
2.piston(best bet J.E. or ross, others work good also)
3. and gaskets

labor.....expect 300-400 bucks depending on who's doin it
and about 60 bucks to shave the cylinder

you cant beat marcums price on those 416/426 kits 165 with boring i beleive....then get a good cam....throw away the cometic head gasket...get either a stock 400 or xr400 head gasket
if ya want more...carb it and port it
