Why do 250r's blow their base gaskets? Is there anyway to correct it?

I've never heard of a problem with R's blowing base gaskets. Mine's been fine. I imagine if the bottom of your cylinder or the top mating surface of your cases are warped it could happen, but the compression in the bottom of the engine isn't really that much compared to the pressures the headgasket will see.
