By connected if you mean they flow through, I'm saying yes. I didn't stick anything through but it's a gas tube to supply the accelerator pump with fuel.

Mine looks the same way as yours

Yeah, you were correct in your assumptions. Great minds think alike... Ha Ha.
All sorted, reinstalled car and acc pump now works.
