Stock……lol……those other guys he was racing can't race. I left a comment on that video….if he gets off his 400EX and lets one of those guys race it and he gets on any of their quads he will beat his own machine every time. Thats the true test and something we use to do when we raced, thats how you find out. You can get a honda trx90 beating a banshee on video.

Ex would still be in front or damn close to side by side.. Mods for it.
11:1 Wiseco piston (kept ring gap on the tight side), OEM Honda cylinder gasket, Cometic .018'' head gasket, machined .002'' from cylinder head surface, stage 1 Hot Cam, custom adjustable cam sprocket, CRF450 timing chain, GT Thunder head studs, stock valve train, 05' Honda 450r carb - 45 Keihin pilot (maxed out, need a 48) 3rd notch down on the "dyno jet" needle, and 180 Keihin main, Sparks clutch kit with a Hinson basket... UNI air filter, K&N air box filter lid, complete Sparks exhaust. NGK DPR8Z plug, Moose CDI, stock sprockets, 21'' ITP Holeshot XC rear tires on 9'' ITP wheels.... I run Shell 93 with Lucas octane boost and Honda GN4 10w40..... its around 12/12.5:1 compression..

Other guys can't ride, a modded 400EX can barely hang with a stock 450 with a competent rider. The 400 is a great quad, but is no racer by any stretch. You want speed, get a 450 or an old 2 stroke, the 400 isn't the ticket for top speed racing! Lol
