Chain Probs

Trying to tighten chain up and can't get the tightener to move. I have the bolts loose and everything good to go but can't get it to budge at all. The carrier is not that old. Got an aftermarket one not too long ago...

DK what to do. Should I just tear into it the bearing carrier and see whats going on?

Your chain may have stretched too far and it's a tight as it'll go. If that's the case, you need a new chain or to drop a link or two out of the existing one. Are your rear tires suspended off the ground? If they aren't, try that.
