2002 Polaris Sportsman 700

I have a 2002 Sportsman 700 that has had the carb rebuilt & rings put in it.
The other day I cut the gas off & let it run the gas out or the carb.Now it's not running right.If the throttle is open it rund,but will not idle,no matter how far you turn the idle screw in.
What's wrong with it this time?It ran fine until I let the carb run out.

could have possible messed up the float in it, causing it to flood out.

can you smell gas? you might be able to tap it a couple of times and get the float unstuck, but its doubtful.

Could have gotten some dirt off the bottom of the bowl, take the bowl off and clean the pilot jet.
