Removed carb and cleaned after sitting for a while, had a dead spot after letting off throttle and getting back into it. Put carb back on and now when I turn fuel on the carb floods within seconds and leaks around the brass inlet. Tore it down again and cleaned needle and seat. Float seems to work fine. Put it back on and same thing. What am I missing? The brass inlet spins freely, did something come loose on the back side, or it that normal.

Theres 3 O-rings on the brass inlet. they could be bad. I cant remember for sure but im thinking my 06+quads that inlet would spin freely. Im thinking the only thing that holds those in there is a screw that threads into an undercut groove. Similar to the shifter bolt

Ok, thanks. I will look into a diagram and see if that's the problem. It would make sense if so.

That is correct, You can either replace the o rings, or you can buy the new inlet with o rings already installed for a couple of bucks more if I'm remembering right.
