I messed up one of my stock front shocks last race and I just ordered 450r fronts. I've never really messed with suspension but am eager to learn the skills of the trade. I'm 5'9 150lbs and dont hit many jumps. Any suggestions?
Get them redone for your weight. They are gonna be very stiff since you are so light weight.

Would the be worse than stock?
Yes. They work better but are very, very stiff even for me at 200lbs.

For what your going to spend on new 450r shocks and a revalve, you could have gone with axis or fox actually built for a 400...
I'm 200 with gear as well and my 450r fronts were VERY stiff.
