k guys..first race of the season is coming up for d34..yippee..lol..but anyways on with my question..i run a heavily modified 400ex with plus 3arms and elka suspension..i run a practice track that has very hard corners..meaning like hairpin turns...very good practice..but im just wondering..ive always had a problem with riding for a long time..i can do awesome on the first 2 laps meaning top 3 or top 2..but when that last lap comes around i run out of steam...should i slow down in the corners to make me save some energy..i hit corners really hard..harder than some pros from what i have been hearing from guys around the track..so give me some suggestions...anything will be appreciated..thanks guys..joe #222

I have the same problem when I MX and I found that breathing and loosing up the grip helps with getting tired. I noticed that I was holding on to the handle bar too tight and causing arm pump bad.

Good Luck at race!

practice running consistent , and try to pull a holeshot and keep on it through the first lap , then relax and put in a lil slower lap times just goofing for 10 laps , then get on it for 5 more to build your endurance. i used to run 20 lap practice sessions like that.eat everybody up in lap 3 !!!if you watch ricky charmichaels youll see him get tired. when you work out go for endurance not strength.
