Race wiring harness help

I followed this wiring diagram and checked it a few times and it looks right but I am not getting any spark now I do have an extra green wire coming from the ground wire that is cut and I cannot find where it goes any help please!!!

I have tracked it down to finding out if I unplug the ignition and kick start it it has spark but it is also electric start so I need my ignition

have you had any luck on this. I see you have eliminated the diode. I have wondered for quite some time if I could do that.
