400ex valves(again)

i have a 2004 400ex that needs a valve adjustment, do i need to buy valve shims? thanks:confused:

No shims, butterfly gauge, small wrench and screwdriver, set at top dead center, take round valve covers off, gauge and adjust. Can't remember what they should be set at off hand.



The exhaust valves should have .005 inches of clearance, and the intake valves should have .004 inches of clearance.
