Ok, so some of you have seen my post on my ex issues. (ex issues)
I put a new battery in and picked up a battery tender to keep it topped off.
When the battery is fully charged and I ride it for about 10 min and put the tender back on.
It shows it needs charging or at least topped off.
Could the stater be going out and not keeping the battery charged.
This would explain the electrical issues with not wanting to start and run properly.
Am I correct in thinking, once the bike is running, it gets its power from the stater and not the battery?
Kinda like your car uses the battery to get started and then runs on the alternator after it get going.
Any thoughts?
