Best setup for me?

I am looking for a hunting atv. Needs to be 4x4, but does not need to be fast. I would like to keep atv and trailer under 5k. I'm ok buying used. I need 5x8 trailer so it fits in my garage. What type trailer and atv should I start looking at? Thanks in advance

I would generally put Polaris at the bottom of the list, but it's not absolute. I would take a 2008 Polaris Sportsman over a 2001 Yamaha Grizzly.

But generally, in a situation like this, price is usually the biggest factor, and takes priority over brands, over models, and over years. I would say stay away from any of the Chinese garbage, but beyond that you're probably going to be happy with anything.

I won't get into a complete breakdown of models, but many of the smaller models 400cc and lower (especially Hondas) tend to be manual transmission, or electronic shift. Much better gas milage, but it's a SHIFT, and you have to be mindful. The bigger quads tend to be CVT transmissions, completely automatic.
