Are there any good, beefed up aftermarket shift levers? I had to adjust mine to fit boots and now it will bend very easy when i down shift

Check out the Pro Design Power Shifter shift lever for the 400EX. It is solid billet aluminum, very beefy!

The stock one is steel, aluminum is much softer. If you bend the stock one you are doing something very wrong while shifting. Are you jumping/stomping on it while shifting? It only takes a tip of the foot to move it.
I've been riding my whole life and just got my first pair of boots, and i bend it when i down shift. I cant feel the lever. It bends so easy, i just bend it back by hand.
