I came across these ARP head studs on ebay and was wondering if anyone has ever tried them?

would these actually be an upgrade over the stock studs? it says no drilling or tapping required, so it uses the stock threads in the cylinder.

ARP is a good brand.. I'm willing to bet they are solid. It's nice that there is no machining required.

I just got some GT Thunder Head Studs. Still have to get them installed.

That's pretty cool seeing ARP make head studs for us atv guys. I didn't know they did small engine power sports stuff. I'd definitely give them a shot if you were in the market for them. ARP is definitely a good company, shouldn't have any issues with them.

Personally I'd go with the gtt studs. Most times the threads pull out of the aluminum and with the ARP ones being stock size it wont help you out any if you strip your threads. I'm sure they are top notch though because they do make awesome products.
