No spark help

I have a 200 Eton thunder 90 2 stroke that is not getting spark. I put a new coil on and still no spark. I checked and have 27vac going to the coil but nothing coming out of the coil. I have checked all of the sadties and kill switches and they check out ok. What else could the problem be?

I don't really know much about two strokes but it could also be you spark plug boot. A couple months ago I went riding on my honda 400ex it ran fine. But then the next day I couldn't make it turn on. So I got a old coil that I had laying around from some three wheeler and it fired right up. So then i went to local shop and bought a new coil Put it on and put the old spark plug boot and it didnt turn on. It turned out it was the spark plug boot. I ended up wasting $60 on a new coil because my exhaust pipe burned the coil cable a bit and I wasn't able to return it.
