The pipe mounts like this. It actually looks very cool in person. I would recommend the Supertrapp IDS2 to anyone. It is constructed very well and has a nice power increase over stock. The sound is probably one of the best I have heard so far on the 400EX. Almost gives out the sound of a YZ426 (you can tell these bikes are coming down the trail!!)

This pipe with the dynojet kit and filter really wake the stock 400EX up.

I have had this since last summer with no complaints.
