Slow start

I just picked up a 2010 Apex 90 and it seems to be a bit slower on the start than my other 2008 Apex 90. Both are bone stock. The rider is about 70 lbs and just starting out on four wheels. It sounds like the RPM's are much higher than it should be when the clutch engages. We don't race but both love the track. I Plan on keeping it stock for now, but wondering how to get the clutch to engage sooner. Any advice is appreciated.

See if it has an adjustable clutch and if it does the stall speed my be set to high.If not it could have to light of a roller in it.
