TRX 90 ignition switch mount for aftermarket handlebars

I know this is the wrong forum but the TRX90 thread appears to not have any traffic. I figure some of you may have little ones that has a TRX 90 and may have swapped out the handlebars.

My son has a 97' TRX90 in which those years the stock handlebars has a big black plastic cover over them which also houses the ignition switch. Im wanting to swap out for aftermarket handlebars and need a place to mount the ignition switch. What have you guys done or made for yours? Some pics would be nice too if you have some

Please note that im talking about the older TRX 90's, not the newer ones. The ones now have a small plastic center piece

can you just cut hole in the fender with a hole saw for it? Im not sure where on a trx90 but have done this on 450's and 400's.
