Im gonna purchase a new chain and sprockets anyone have recommendations on which chain and sprocket brands to get or stay away from? Thanks

Non o-ring chains, dont even bother with them. I have all primary drive stuff from rocky mountaina nd have been very pleased. x-ring chain and steel sprockets.

A 40400EX should probably sport a mill drive chain and crusher sprockets :muscle:

+1 on the Primary Drive chain and steel sprockets, good quality and priced right. And MtnEX brings up a very good point lol.

DID ATV X-ring only way to go IMHO…the best, been running them 14 years. On the EX and KTM.

Renthal sprockets are best also…but more $$$. I run Renthal 16 tooth up front on most set-ups and its going to last forever. I run Sunstar rear sprockets.
