heres some pics of my front beadlocks I freshened up. ordered new bolt and nut plate kit for em, painted the beadlock rings, and did some grooving on my razrII's.

Cool... let me know what you think of the grooving when you try them.

I am still feeling green about the whole directional front tire thing. I have had both Razr2 and GNCC's now and sometimes I have caught myself wondering if a grooved Razr or a shaved Holeshot XC with 3 rows wouldn't work about as good etc. I haven't really gotten to even try them both ways now that I have a front end that actually turns so that I can get a grasp on what the angled side knobs are really doing.

well, one of my buddies who use to race and ride with explained the difference on the directional knobs for me one time. for example, on the razr2, if you run em the way the arrow says and the knobs are angled outward, it will make the tires a lot more grabby when you get into ruts. like say you are in a rutted turn, the tires will try and climb out of the rut if your not turning sharp enough to follow it. but if the knobs are angled in, it gets a lot less bite in the ruts and kinda gives the effect like your "riding on rails" and stays in the rut much better and doesn't try to climb out as easy.

Thank you...

It seemed like I had read something like that at one point. I had them on my Kawasaki though, and at the time I had to run them the other way because I was having pushing problems. By the time I solved that I couldn't remember what I had read.

What grooving iron do you use and what head size?

not sure on the size, but I found the tire groover on ebay, its worth the money if you if you plany on grooving your own tires or even your buddy's tires.
