Bearings

Hi, just have to ask some questions about bearings.

The sealed type bearings that are in the wheel hub and steering stem, are they supposed to spin very easily? When I try to spin mine, which are still in, they need a decent amount of strength from one finger to turn, and they will not spin freely. But they're still smooth.
As I'm ordering bearings from US now, for my swing arm, are there any other bearings that I should buy as spare. Like what bearings are most often changed on the 400ex?
What brand? All Balls or Pivot Works?

As long as they roll freely and don't catch then they should be good. They won't roll freely. Only bearings that you should have spares of would be the swingarm and carrier bearings, those wear out or should be replaced the most often.
