View Full Version : Ouch,,,,,,,,,,,,my stem is bent.

Here's a pic of what happens when you clip a tree with your left front tire in 2nd gear tapped while screaming thru the woods..:eek: The steering stop at the bottom of the stem hit the stop on the frame so hard it bent the lower tie rod mounting bracket..:ermm: My thumb still feels broke from the impact..:( But my buddy Bob Meszaro is gonna fix it for free so thumbs up to him...:D

That is what happens when ya drinking before the race... The trees are much closer than they appear...J/K
I hear Bob is a real nice guy. I glad to hear he stands behind his products:D

Well Mezsaro got my stem today and told me it's trashed and i need a new one...:( He said were the dampner attaches to it...that from there down it's twisted and bent..:eek: i couldn't see that part of it but after putting it on his machine and checkin it out..it's junk...:ermm:

But he's got a new one on it's way to Kenny to PC and I'll be back in business in about 5 days..all at little to No cost...:devil

I"m thinkin chrome PC with emerald prism would be a nice touch..:eek:

I hear those two brothers on the west coast do some real trick work. You should get in contact with them. I think the name of their shop is "M&S Speed".

ah suck it up!! throw that sucker back on! its got another 2 years of ridin left on it!! just wrap a little duck tape around it and hit the trail! hahaha nah that thing looks pretty thrashed! thats cool that bob is gonna do that for you!

is that all you bent??? i cant imagine clipping a tree in second, and haveing my stem bend, and tierods bend without the rim goin too,,, ? :rolleyes: :eek:

ouch Rico. as long as ya didnt get hurt. quad parts are easily replacable.

I agree. I don't think it looks that bent...hehe
