What is the Deal on the Shipping Cost?

I went to Mason Dixon to order me some of those Sweet Tees... I figure $5 bucks a piece is pretty sweet! When I placed my order it came back that $6 bucks a shirt was added for shipping!! :eek2:
What is that all about?

$4.50 for shipping each is what it costs me - and at $5.00 shirt I charge an extra $1.50 for handling because I am already losing money at $5.00 a shirt and I won't lose more by spending the time and gas going to the post office ;)

Normally when you buy alot of one thing there is only one shipping and handling cost for the Lump Sum!

The software I use does not support such a feature - anyway I think $5.00 a shirt more than makes up for it ;) They were selling at $20.00 a shirt.

yeah, the shipping cost "appear" shocking... I had $20 shipping fee..... but the whole order was still WAYYYYY cheaper than when I was gonna order it 2 weeks before, so I threw on some extra stuff. But how long does it usually take to receive it? Mine still says "Processed" since last week.?.
