Hi, I'm now returning to my build after 3 months, and have one question.
Is this collar and bolt supposed to be this dirty? The bearings inside are not 100% smooth, seems to be abit dirt on them. Why does it look like this, when the bike only has 100hours on it?

Dirt and water got in and made a small mess. Me, I replace the bearings the bushings and bolt on all my quads when I get them and I take the bolt out and grease it up every few months.
For the money and since you got it apart Id just replace it all.

your lucky.......I just recently had to use a sawzall and small air grinder with a cut-off wheel and cut my swingarm bolt in 4 places to remove the swingarm. the bolt was seized up in the collars so bad a sledge hamar wouldn't even drive it out. its a 03 that's all stock, and I would guess it still had the original swingarm bearings in it, it was just rusty little bb's that came out where the needle bearings were.
