View Full Version : got some cool pics of my clan at Idaho Quad Wars...

WEll it was a good wwk end of fun for my Daughter Kelsey, my son Brandon, And my ole man Troy..It was Idaho vs. Florida.I got tons of pics and Im going to post them in a link to my album so you can see all I took,but Ill post a few pics of them too..Now the kids did AWESOMES, most the others were newer riders but rode like lil champs...I was proud of all of them. My daughter did really good, she took first in all races:cool: :D (this wasnt a real race persay,but for fun rather for the kids) and even lapped her lil brother.....:o he will catch up someday with more riding under his belt...Troy did so good,I was really prouod of him.. Most other riders were riding with a better set up than he was with my 400ex(we didnt want to take the new predator out just yet until he gets more familiar with it in case your wondering why he took mine out..;) )...out of 9 races, Troy took 2nd place 4 times..Third once, fourth once,wrecked one:o and the last two were second to last(he injured in shoulder when he wrecked)..Overall it was an awesome experience and I really expected it to be "rigged" more than it was...:confused: most of the riders won there postion fair and square, and the team Capt. were very nice,everyone was very cool..Anyhow I had to tell you about the night Ill have the pics up tomorrow,we have been at the show for a total of about 18 hours(for fri and Sat) and Im beat. :)... heres a few of the kids until I get the others up...

Cool, that has has to be quite an experience for your kids! :) Yes,they should remember it for a long time...:) Brandon told me today he wanted to do it again today!!!!:p They got quite a kick out of the Autograph session and all the kids asked them lots of questions on how to get into racing ect...The driver in the monster truck "Bulldozer" came over to my kids and asked them to autograph his helmet for good luck..:cool:

:eek2: what happend...was he ok, how much was the bill to fix that wall :p WEll, he is fine, my Quad is fine ..the guy on the Yellow 400ex was on the inside,couldnt take the corner well,hit his rear brakes:eek: , and his right rear tire slid behind Troys left front coming under neath the nerf(wedged it ) Throwing Troy off to the right,Troy hit the conrete floor and the quad hit the wall and Troys body followed... They said somewhere areound 3000.00 to fix for damage,but thank god WE dont have to pay it! whew...

Damn girl AWESOME pics!!!!!! Looks like you guys had a blast & sounds like the kids did great!!! Glad to hear your hubby made out ok, hate seeing that!!!!:eek: BTW I got my 300EX this weekend & I love it!!!!! Good luck racin

ur tikes are kool qj tearin up the track poor brandon needs his ride tricked like his sisters though.......................parents dont let kids ride stock tina! you know that!:rolleyes: lol just kiddin looks like it was fun really fun i want to do a quad wars now.............:D

Your kids must have had a blast. It sure is a good experience for them. Were some of the parents there very pushy like at some races?

You have to admit those quad wars shows are fun between riding in front of a packed stadium and then the pit parties all and all those are a great time

I just did a show in worcester centrum in massachussetts about a month ago it really is a good time

pics look good I was afraid the kids would get all nervous out there in front of ALL those people, but it didnt phase them a bit!!:p It was good fun, I may give it a try next year if they have quads again,sometimes its dirt bikes,so Im not sure, but we will def do it again when they come...:) `````Hey BigBore81........ well the quad wars i do are all planned the winner is predetermined but i made sure i always was 3rd ;) the first two guys that win are usually team captains but trust me i could easily beat both of them it sux that u really can't race because it would be funny to see how fast people really are but i don't reallycare its just a bunch of buddies giving a good show i don't have any pics of the event and as far as the size of the stadium it wasn't very big we had 2 doubles and 2 sections of whoops

yeah.. the Capt won most here too(predetrmined too), it was funny cause the capt told Troy to hold his position and he would come and rush on him and take first at the last minute....funny thing is Troy almost won it afterall,cause he almost didnt catch up with him!!! hahahah:p . the last two races was a free for all...but any other position was any placing so all and all it was good fun....
