we have a BDT 350 mx pro ported kit and it produces TONS of power. what we are wondering is going to a 350 kit, will it put too much torque on the trans since it was originally designed for a 250.up to what CC is the 250 trans and crank good for.thanks

I ran a CT350 for many years and had zero issues with stock gears.I swapped out the basket for a Hinson long before the 350 top end was installed and when I sold the quad there was only minimal wear on the clutch fingers....no grooving.Sorry, dont know the size limitations for reliability of crank.

it really depends on how you ride it... if your constantly doing high speed launches pushing it and slamming gears, then yes you will have problems eventually if your looking to drag race it a lot you should look in to different gears, but for MX style riding the stock gears will perform fine

we have a BDT 350 mx pro ported kit If it was built by BDT you really don't need a new clutch. The old one will hold just fine. Your probably getting 30 to 35 HP

LMAO some responses are truly funny.. But Jack you know better then any how you ride and the TRUE power your putting to the wheels....usually anything under 370 that's not drag setup can perform fine on stock...

trust your instinct you know better then anyone merely typing to hear themselves talk

I grenaded my 2nd gear with a 265 kit. Lots of 2nd gear launches at the dunes.
