Hi everybody!
It is my first post here and I would like to show You my project which I have started about 2 years ago with small brakes betwween time I did 80 % of work.Now I have decided to finis this project.Maim idea was to build lightest quad as possible with powerfull engine cheap in maintence,so that's why I have choosen cr 500. Some people asked me why I did not use ltr 450 frame..answer is my ltr 450 is in grate shape 15 hourse on new piston and 15 houre on new nickasiled engine ,when project will not be working as good as shoul I will be still useing my ltr.
I started showing my project on other forum but now I want to switch here ,becouse is tpical atv site /forum

I have some new photos from today and yestorday..I have already finished front end now tie rods have done and all steering stem combination is finished.More photos soon...

You build a chromoly frame or just a steel frame ?

I have few pictures from last few days.Finally I have finished tie rods ,anti vibe:D steering stem and stem post.For stem bushing I have used erthalon rod.As steering clump I will be useing aluminum ltr 450 clump,t looks very nice but in the future I will change it becous it is heavy and I have to use M 12 bolts to install this piece of metalto stem.Normaly I suppose it s enough use M10 bolts for this kind of application.

I am very happy with tie rods there is not any playing on them and sits tight in the knuckles.I am thinking aboute any protection againist mud and other stuff like that.

Next think which has taken me aboute 6 hours was air box ( damn !!! 6 hours) I wouldn't think it could taken me so much time but on this stage of project is rule which appear very often " 2 steps forward one step back "17181085351718108536171810853717181085381718108539
