well i have my motor back together from a rebuild , the timing is exact and everything is right but when i try to start it up it just putts like to times and quits , the sparkplug is fine and it is getting spark and i tried to push start it and i put it in gear and it still went, even in gear and made kinda of a slight grinding noise
and it is getting gas ..what could be wrong ??

You didnt install the head backwards did ya?;)

When you say rebuild, did you rebuild it to the way it was before or did you modify it somehow??

put it back the way it was, and no i didnt put the head on backwards

Hmmmm. Ive taken my apart and put it back together four times in the last year.

You mentioned a grinding noise and that it fires like twice and dies.

Hmmm.....

Did you remove the piston from the rod? When putting the piston back on, did you make sure the arrow pts towards the front?

yep made sure , but today i got it running ...new problem now when i put in gear nothinh happens ...NOW WHAT ??..LOL
