Hey Guys,
I am currently working on a new website that is dedicated to sponsorship.
The site will feature weekly tips on how to promote yourself and build relationships with your current sponsors and grab the attention of new sponsors.
Here are a few examples of articles that will be covered on the website:
Top 10 sponsorship myths
When should I start looking for sponsors?
Tagging & following your sponsors on social media
What is the difference between a Facebook Page and a Profile Page?
Why do I need a Facebook page?
Tips for remembering (and thanking) all of your sponsors on the podium
Why should I write race reports?
How do you put together a Sponsorship resume?
Growing up racing and now working for the media, I feel that there are several websites around that you can create a sponsorship profile on (i.e. hookit.com) but there really isn't a site that actually tells you how to get sponsored.
Isn't that the key ingredient that is missing? It's like having a toolbox full of tools but not knowing how to use them. Its not all about how well you finish its about how you represent yourself and the companies that support you.
