I go to votech for machining (tool and dye) and have made a few parts for my 450r snd it hit me i think i could make a sprocket guard pretty easy or rotor guard? Just aluminum righ i have the material at school and they let me make whatever.. What do you guys think? Can anyone else shed some light on this? Anyone have any information on sizing and such or blueprints?

A sprocket guard would be cake, but it's too cheap to buy an oversized sprocket blank and bolt it on. As for the rotor guard, that would need to be made out of some heavy duty plate and welded. Your shop teacher may freak out if you tried to make one out of a solid piece. Unless you are talking about one of the brake stay deletes that hangs down. If that's the case, bye bye carrier.
