Quick question, please help!

alright how do you tighten the castle nut on the ball joint stud? becasue the stud rotates with the bolt! please help!
this is for an a-arm obviously, and i am putting/put 400ex a-arms on, jsut need to know how to stop the ball joint stud from rotating when tightening the castle nut?!?!:huh

i had the very same problem, you need to hit the a-arm into the spindle, then it should stop turnin

no need to hit too hard ..when taper is held in tight it will stop spinning ,..if doin the tops push up on the spindle ..if doin the bottom push spindle down onto the arm... usually works for me

well i tried both of those, and they were only to a certain point, so then i took some channel locks, and put sand paper on them and held it very tight right above the rubber piece on the ball joint but right below the spindle, seemed to work good until the it locked up and wasnt needed anymore:o
