late model headlights on early 400s

I have a 01' 400ex and I just bought 06' plastics for it. I am wondering how you mounted the headlight up. (It looks like I will have to move the CDI box) if anyone can give me some advise and show me some pictures that would be awesome!

Im not familiar with how the CDI mounts under the front plastic on the earlier models but on the '05-'07 there is a metal bracket the the headlight and everything mounts to. So I would assume you would just buy that bracket and it should solve most, if not everything if it will mount to your frame.
