Does anyone know if an aluminum stand made for dirt bikes will hold my Z? I have done a search and everyone recommends the AC stand for $99 or a hydrolic jack stand for the same price. I also tried a 5 gal bucket, crushed it:eek: , a rubbermaid stool that I used on my bike, crushed it:eek: :eek: and a milk crate,crushed it too:eek: :eek: :eek: . I can get a bike stand from Rocky Mountain for like $40...has anyone tried one?

Never tried the AC ones. I use a Craftsman jack that will hold 1500 pounds. It holds all the quads and bikes stable so Im happy with it.

I got one like that too. I usually put dirtbikes on it thought so I dont know how it well it would hold a quad.

It will hold a quad. If a milk crate will hold one I'm pretty sure a bike stand will.

I tried a milk crate and it was smashed in about an hour....I didnt even sit on it while it was on there.

I bought one from Sams Club for $80 and it holds up real well. Its not X its like the craftsmen ones.

i just use 2 milk crates, one on top of the other. it works great, and its free too :)

Crushed milk crates?
This is more of a dolly than a astand but it works great and was basicaly free:)

Here is my poor poor R on one of my stands.My dad was working at a school a few years ago.These where the old art desk.They where throwing them away.So my dad grabbed a couple.I got one for my 300ex to.I keep my bikes on them all the time.
