ok guys i hope someone can help me out! im new to the quads with a carb, i use to have a ltr 450. I just got a 06 yfz 450 special edition. it will not start by the push button, it turns over fine and sputters but that about it. If you pull start it, it will fire right up. when u ride it and get on it real hard it kinda sputters a bit. im not sure what all is done to it, but i think all it has done is a full dasa exhaust. i just now looked to see what the jetting was. the main jet is a 158 and the pilot is a 52. i put a bigger main jet in it lastnight, i have not in the pilot though because i dont have any bigger. i was thinking about looking into the valve clearance? what do you guys think? any help is appreciated!!!! I just did check the valve clearance and both sides r in spec!
