I bought my 400ex last year and its time to replace the bearing in the carrier, so i pull it off. I found that it was an aftermarket one but i dont know wich brand it is. The guy before me put 2 sets of regular bearing in it, but should i put double row in it? and are all the double row bearing the same size? and can you tell me the brand of my bearing carrier?

thanks

By some "All Balls" double row bearings off ebay. Any 400EX bearings should fit.

The dust seals on most if not all carriers use the same size as OEM. If you need new ones you will probably need to order them also, unless the bearings say they come with them.

I have the bearing carrier . I just want to change the bearing but i dont know the brand of the carrier so i was looking if all the bearing were the same size. And i broke the outside oring , you say that they use the same as OEM so the bearing should be the same size too.i wish...

The bearing size is 62 x 40 x 20.6mm for the double row bearings. They are GM a/c clutch bearings, and most aftermarket carriers use those.
