waking up in the morning looking outside and seeing a beatiful day and getting all excited because all the snow is gone and the ground is finally drying up to make for some perfect riding.... then you realize your quad is all apart and there isnt nothing you can do about it till next week because someone has the top end of your engine doing a valve job and cleaning the ports?? anyone else feel the same lol :(

yeah thats a terrible feelin (i used to get that one a lot when i had my LT). but i think the worst feeling is when your in the air and your doin a trick and you float away from the bike and can't get back on. but anyways, you need to IM me on aim sometime if you could cuz i need to talk to ya about the trip.

Yea i know the feeling. My rebuild on my R went bad, one thing after another went wrong. Everything that could go wrong did. I will be honest, it took a long f'ning time to get it going. Once i got it started i realized the head was warped so its leaking. The worse part is for the last 4 months we have had no truck since we ordered a new hemi and its taking forever to come in. So i couldnt bring the quad anywhere. Today i had my neighbor drive me down to a local shop so i could drop the quad off to get the head fixxed, front end aligned and any other loose ends it had. I promised myself i'd never bring my quad to a shop, but i swallowed my pride and figured it be best to bring it somewhere than then to screw around with it. I will be going riding on my R next sunday. I am sure all this $ and time i havn't rode will be all worth it the 1st time i hit the powerband.

I just talked my friend into buying a quad, so I could have someone to ride with .... well last weekend he was supposed to come up and ride, Well for the last couple of years I've had buldging disc's in my back causing a great deal of pain but I was still able to ride, Sunday nite one of the disk's ruptured and blew my back out, and I've spent the last week in the hospital having surgery on my back to repair the rupture. I had to tell him the other nite that I can't even think about getting on my quad for atleast 3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!! this REALLY SUCKS...............he just bought it and has not rode it yet because it is in my shop, he was pretty bummed

how bout what happened friday and today with me and my buddies, we where riding at the sandpit last night jumping and stuff and i had both my back tires come off the bead at the same time and we couldnt fix them, then my buddie rolled his 400 and another friend tipped over his 600 grizzly, then today i put diffrent tires on so i could ride and my friend with the grizly was going up the side of the sandpit and couldnt make it to the top and started rolling back without looking and smoked my duddie with the 400 right in the front fenders and shatered em, and the fenders where just brand new about a month ago, and that one of my other friends blaster the clutch cable broke so we decided to hang it up for the day because we where all so pissed off

How about finding a quad you want Tuesday night, your dad taking work off Wednesday to go buy it, you're all excited to ride it cuz you finally got rid of that peice of crap Blaster, you putt around Thursday, work Friday and Saturday, you're workin Sunday morning and then you're gonna do some hard core ridin Sunday afternoon, then at work Sunday morning somebody drops a chainsaw on your arm....no riding for a long time....yeah that sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then blood and bone spewing out of my arm didnt upset me, but when I heard from the doc. that I couldnt ride, I have to admit there were tears of frustration in my eyes.
Yeah I also hate that helpless feelig you get when you have to bail in the air.
And that feeling when you lose it on a hill and try to grab it but you cant keep it from flippin and as it bounces down the hill you see pieces fly off and you hear those metallic crunches....there went the steering stem....there go the a-arms.....forget about the axle....better get on ebay soon...and you feel like your gonna puke!

what really sucks is having a $9k quad in the garage, a kick *** motocross track down the road (red bud) and having an open ride on sunday, nice weather 55 degrees and sun, BUT having knowone to take along, so if i get hurt someone can drive me home, so my parents won't let me ride!!:( i guess i'll just save my money and go next weekend

Aw Wired, thats why you always keep 2 quads, and make sure one is always in working order! (usually a Honda!) Not that the snow is all gone here, but a bit is off the drive way, and there is still over 2 feet in most places, but I won't start working on the 300 till my 400 is back together! Just for that reason, I went out for a ride on it today :D

yeah its really nice out, we were all at my friends house and he has a big hill and it was solid 1ft deep mud and at the bottom was a huge puddle so you couldnt get any momentum.... i made the mistake of going to close to the banshee:o  that is a dirt in the face experience like no other... it makes you think about just eating the dirt in your mouth becuase it takes you an hour to spit it out! lol.

Dudes I hear you. I swear I pick all the freaking wrong times to add stuff or to fix stuff on my ride. As soon as I see it warming up I am like, 'son of a bizitach' why the h-bomb am I am doing this now? But don't ya know I am all rearing to go when it is all crappy out!:blah
yeah i got like a month or more before the ground will be dry enough
