21" or 22" front tires

hey guys, i'm about to order a set of GBC XC Masters for the front, to go along with some brand new razr rears... Just looking into it and I saw some posts about the 22's being really large... I have ITP GNCC Holeshots 22" fronts now, which i do like their size.

Anyone with info on these or even razr 2's sizing would help! thanks!

I think most guys run the 21s just because the smaller the front tire, the better the handling. If you plan on running in really rutted or rocky places where you need more ground clearance then go with the 22 or even the 23s if you feel the need. Just go with the smallest tire you feel comfortable with for where you ride.

Honestly I like 22s only b/c of the added height. But in reality 21-22 isnt a big jump as most tires fall somewhere inbetween in both those sizes. 20-22 is alot and 22-23 seems alot tho.

I have both 21" and 23" gbc xrex's, theres quite a big difference in em. the 21's actually only measure 20 inches.

How do you like the 23s compared to the 21s?

I've always ran 22s helps a lot with rolling over logs

theres a pretty noticeable difference in the steering. the 21s steer and turn a lot easier, the 23s feel like they want to roll in really hard turns, and make it feel like it wants to tip on 2 wheels. but with the 23s it seems a lot easier if you are in bad rutted trails with the extra clearance.

when ever I have to buy tires again I think im gonna try 22" fronts.
