Gbc x Rex tires or turf tamers and rear shock

So I picked up a 02 400ex that needed axle bearing and a few other things. After tearing apart the rear end I realized the swing arm bushing were bad so I replaced them while taking the shock out I realized how similar it looked to my 450r shock it bolts in perfect but its a little shorter. Should I still put it in or put the 400ex one on is the ride nicer or? And I'm no sure what rear tires to get I'm not a big fan of hole shots or razors but a friend of mine had gbc x Rex's on his and I liked the way it went but I also loved the turf tamers on my old 250r and kfx 400 so what tires should I get and but the way does anyone know if I can get 20x10x9 turf tamers I can't find them them when I search for them.

I ride a lot of roads dirt and paved roads most of the trails are posted where I ride but when I ride in the woods I sometimes play in the mud depending if I'm riding with my buddy and his 4x4 I've always liked turf tamers so I'm leaning towards those

400ex and 450r have the same rear shock

The rear shocks are not the same. 450R rear shocks are not even the same 04-05 is different than 06+. I would use the 400EX shock if I were you.
