How many of you guys doing the 416 or 440 kits replacing the cam chain at the same time. Most of the builders i have talked to say the stock chain holds up fairly well. I ordered a new oem chain but looks like it is going to be a pain in the @ss. I am replacing the clutch springs is the chain hard to do once you have the jug off and the clutch cover off? The bike is a 2001

My 416 and my buddies 440 are both using the factory original timing chain. No problems yet.

The stock chain holds up really well. but with anything over time it can wear if you do not change your oil often. So far I have not had to replace a stock change because of failure.:)
