Im not too savvy on diesels and much more so on a 2008 ford F450 with 6.4l. Other than do the EGR/DPF delete and tune to make it run correct and more efficient across the board, Im lost.
Saturday night it went into limp mode, The dual stage turbo(s) wont kick in. I tried to power stall and wouldn't do a thing. I checked the fittings and behind the tow hook for leaks and nothing. I was able to pull two codes, P006b and P0128.
Now if the turbo was not kicking in, That would cause the Tstat to act weird as its not cooling as good. So im not chasing that one right away. The only thing I have read is that it could be the MAP and or the EGT sensors.
He's a OTR truck driver and don't have too much time when home. But I have no idea where to start except the two sensors. So far no air leaks etc as we went over it twice yesterday. Any info or advice would be great, I really have no clue about diesels. But need it back up so I can tow my jeep and atv's here soon. Thanks for any info you can give
