i was oilng my chain today on my 400ex today with it up on a lift and with it at idle in gear they chain would jerk and the rear tires would slow down for a sec. it wouldnt do it consistantly. if u rev the motor alittle or if u were riding u couldt feel anything. i put it in nutral and turned the rear tires by hand to see if it was a stuck link on the chain but it felt fine and i adjusted the cain and got it right and still did it. could it be a bearing in the crankcase or is it just normal?????
