If i put a aftermarket air filter or exhaust systm on my quad woul it change the compresion ratio?

nope. the only way to change the comp. ratio is change the piston ot cranhshaft. comp. ratio = volume of cylender compaired to volume of combustin chamber at top dead center. ex; an 11:1 comp ratio means the volume of the combustin chamber is 11 times smaller than the cylnder volume

The compression ratio in the simplest terms is the cylinder volume with the piston at BDC divided by combustion chamber volume with the piston at TDC.
For example: a stock 400ex
397cc (swept colume) divided by 43cc (combustion chamber volume) is 9.2 or 9.2:1 compression ratio.
In my case 435cc/38cc is 11.5:1
