1718107475Ok so here is the story. We picked this up for $700 from a nineteen year old kid who had just gotten his girlfriend pregnant. It was in rough shape. The whole front end was loose, the stem was bent, the wiring was junk, and it was blown up, just about every bearing on the quad was trash. it had a lot of nice parts though, like +1 front end, dwt beadlocks on back, lonestar carrier and axle, 440 kit, hot cams, etc. we plan on building it back up with a few aftermarkets parts and a lot of new parts. it will be done by early to mid summer. I hope people follow this build and any tips, or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

well, everybody has to start somewhere lol. not a bad lookin bike though, looks like mine almost, and I have the same front bumper. fenders look good and it already has handguards and bumper and nerfbars. Id look for some beadlock front wheels. put some good front shocks on it, yfz450 front brake calipers,. send the back shock to be rebuilt somewhere. get the motor built back and you will be all set.
by the way, what kind of rear tires are those? they look wicked

Just remember when you're racing xc suspension is the thing that matters most but I I were building that bike I would get skid plates rotor guards a set of 450r fronts and then get them revalved front and the stock rear and then some flex bars and of course fix everything that needs fixing

yeah I don't think its too bad. I have the 300ex which is the studded tire in the pic, so I can race/ride that until this is done. and were are gonna put the wraps on the hand guards, and put better pegs with heel guards and ditch the nerf bars that way I can use my feet as reverse. we are gonna buy 450 shocks soon, and the motor is ready to be picked up at the shop. the head was repolished (was already ported) new valve seals and everything was cleaned up. new sleeve and new wiesco piston and rings. also, the rear tires are CST mud sharks.

im getting the 450r fronts and I couldn't see myself spending 300-400 dollars on bars, especially when there is a lot of other stuff that is further up the list.
