Suspension links from eBay

Has anyone tried the links from eBay that are $129.99 they say that they use the same geometry as gt thunders link they are just $45 cheaper

i always wondered that myself. ive seen the exact link your talking about and its location is "millersburg, ohio"....gt thunder is in millersburg, oh.



thas jsut like whe you see cheap HMF pipes, brand new, way below retail, from this one seller.....its the same exact location as HMF/IQ defense

No paying any taxes on stuff sold thru ebay, even after the paypal fees they are making out.

Also a possibility they are seconds and just have blemishes they wouldnt normally sell to the public. Or someone could be stealing them..

Ive also seen other items for sale on ebay with a similar address in ohio (like the next town over I recall) thats also GT thunder selling stuff. Its strange.

gtt probably just has a huge overstock and rather than lower their price on their website, they can still get some people who buy straight from them, while others can get a discounted price on ebay. I doubt they're defective and wouldnt' have a problem purchasing one.

Many other companies are now offering links with their suspension service and while GTT was the only one around for a long time they're website prices are pretty high. I can think of 2 other companies that sell links for cheaper than GTT. It could very well be that the competition and shock builders that used to base their setups off of the GTT link, are using their own now and have stopped purchasing the gtt link. GTT might have a little pressure in lowering prices due to this. derisi and ****tech both have their own linkages and will do rear shock service plus link for under $300

thats dirt cheap to get your rear end done. i now dirt works makes their own link and vanilla gorilla racing just released the banana link for the 450 honda's.

What are your guys thoughts on the derisi link and shock rebuild? I would like to get a link and rear shock reworked just seeing some of your thoughts.

I was on the phone with jet and they will do fronts for $179.99 I think it's a great deal because gt thunder wants like $325

what service is that? what shocks are you getting worked? stock? aftermarket?


i had my 450r stock fronts for my 400ex converted and tripple trated by jet. i love them. they perform awesome.

That was for a complete valving change and a respring on a triple rate elka

That's a good deal for a triple rate respring.. There website says it would be more than that but maybe I read it wrong

I called and asked for the price he said there was a special going on that's why it was so cheap

I know the only downfall is that the wait is 2-3 weeks

thats only because of the time of the year. all the shock builders are super busy right now.



thats one heck of a price though!! about a 1.5 months ago, i was going to buy some elite series HLS 450r front shocks off my buddy who was selling out, for my 400. lenght wise they were perfect, but they needed a slight main spring and tender change and possible valve change. laz quoted me at $290 to do both...i said for get that. i was only gonna get them to try somehting different, and i wasnt going to spend $350 on a used pair of mid level shocks and then spend nearly another $300 to have them reworked.

I'm going to be calling Jet within the next week or two and have them do my fronts. And eventually when I have the $$ ill send my rear to Jet too
