Hey guys, im currently rebuilding my 05. I'm well aware of the crank issues honda has had on these bikes. I've replaced a couple on previous bikes that i owned. But the new crank i just picked up from my dealership came with a seal for the collar but there is no collar in the kit. and they dont seem to list one on the parts diagram. and the seal they sent is too big to fit on the crank itself. I went to servicehonda.com and took a look at a parts diagram. they do list two different seals for two different engine serial numbers. but where is the collar? should i pull the collar off my old crank? Or install the smaller seal? thanks for your time.

This part number (91008-HP1-671) includes the bearing and collar, as a kit. As far as I know, the collar is not sold seperately.
I've never reused a collar. I guess, if you can remove it off the crank and it's not worn, you could use it.
