Jigsaw and a lighter. Get a fine tooth blade for the jig saw and then after you are done cutting clean up the edges with a lighter

Instead of shaving the fenders, has anyone tried triming some off to give it a different look?

i used a grinder. getting both sides equal is the hardest thing. i used a black sharpie to mark it. and a tape measure countless times.

I cut mine with a grinder and marked them with tape. I measured them at all points before I cut. good luck

I used pinstriping tape (like 1/8" wide) to mark off where I wanted to cut. I knew I was going to change my mind about where I wanted to cut them so I figured tape would be easier to remove and re-apply. Getting it to where you like it is the most time-consuming part. Then whip out the jig-saw with a plastic cutting blade, takes about 3 minutes to buzz them off if you take your time ;) Then file the rough edges, then sand them, finally put on some mop n glo (can't have them dull now can you?).

I just used a fine blade on a jigsaw, I only had to use a "de-bur" (i guess that's how you spell it, it's kinda like a small razor blade) on the edges to smoothen them out.
