This will only work for the 06+ bikes correct? I have an 08 but I'm in the process of putting on 04 spindles and Houser Slicast a-arms on.

I believe it will actually work for all years, only difference being the stock heights. if you look at Lone Stars, theirs say the fit all years from 2004-2014. And if you look at Houser's website they say they difference between the 04-05 on theirs is reduced bump steer. You could always call Houser, Jen that works there is extremely helpful and answers the phones right away.
