they put a limiter on it for 184 mph but we will have to take that off im still breaking it in though so i havent had a chance to do over 120 i have to take it easy for 500 miles at least it had 0 miles when i brought it home at 3:00 and its got 87 now

yah know those street bikes are sweeeet i love the way they look but if i got a bike I'd want a hog for 3 reasons

1. Street bikes are mass uncomfortable
2. Hogs sound sweet i love the low rumble
3. Just to be able to sit back and cruise on one and jsut ride without goin 180

don;t get me wrong speed is fun but it will get you introuble in a hurry

but sweet bike is looks bad *****!

Is that the 750 or 1000, I love mine. I have not rode anything on the market that handles as good as an R6.

the bike is a the gsxr 1000 she was brand new this morning i have a yoshi pipe on the way and a new undertail in the plans very soon. the bike is just simply amazing i would own anything else now that i have rode this its just that nice. to me rockets are the only way to go i could never ride a hog its just not my style i want to be able to bring the front end up whenever i want and ride it like i stole it something you cant do without a rocket i think they are comfy besides the wedgie that developes every once in awhile but its worth it by far. most people are to scared to even ride one but when you actually get comfortable on a rocket you will never want to do anything else.

You haven't ridden a GSXR 600, 750, or 1000 on a track then have you? ;) :D

yeah i agree with been i also ride with a couple r1 who have ridden r6 and say the gsxr series outperforms them just my opinion the r6 is definetly a nice bike and a wheelie machine also a lot of it might be rider comfort the are to differnet feeling bikes

awsome bike many and why would you want to go faster than 180mph

EHSRACING

i really wouldnt want to go that fast but by taking the restrictor off you gain a more powerful rpm curve in the first three gears also thats more what i want it for. i also tell everyone but they tell me im crazy and going to die when your going anywhere around 120 on a good bike you really only feel like your going maybe 75 in a car i think its much safer on a bike

ohi get it now no restictor = better acceration i feel i had to say that to feel important lol

EHSRACING

yeah its not actually a restrictor like on a nascar or something its just a different preset for the fuel ignition the computer tells it to have a little more kick in the arse!

I rode a gsxr 750, but I didn't like the way it handled. I prefer my cbr. Your right, they do feel like completely different bikes.

I have rode the 600 and the 750 (had a 750) and I honestly believe the R6 feels much better in my opinion. The weight just feels so well evenly distributed. I just really love it; maybe you haven’t ridden an R6 then?

:blah

hehe :p I've only ridden an R6 a couple times so I'm not an expert by any means. I'll stick to my big Hayabusa (no track bike for sure) and leave the track work to you guys :D

I used to have a 1996 CBR900RR
then I had a 1999 GSXR750
then I had a nice wreck while doing a stand up wheelie doing about 70 mph and my leathers were at home.I still have a lot of scars and it was a long recovery. After all that street bikes are still the sh*t.Nothing can compare to that rush.I had both bikes at about 175 [thats red line in 6th gear].The GSXR1000 is the bike to own [my wife would divorce me if I ever got another one]. Good luck with it ,it is an awesome bike.
